Zdeněk Frank
Zdeněk Frank has been a candidate attorney-at-law and a member of the PLICKA & PARTNERS team since January of 2014. As for his legal practice, Zdeněk mainly focuses on the Insolvency Law (insolvency motions, motions for interlocutory injunctions, sales of real estate during insolvency proceedings, applications of receivables to insolvency proceedings, etc.) and all the legal areas related to such matters (e.g. conflicts of law between execution and insolvency issues).
He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the West-Bohemian Faculty in Pilsen. During his studies, he interned for a few real estate agencies, especially being part of contractual negotiations. After his graduation, he worked as an assistant to a judge in the commercial section of the Regional Court in Prague within a senate focusing on insolvency law where he handled the insolvency agenda, namely the debt forgiveness, bankruptcy and reorganization. This position enabled him to deeply familiarize himself with the reasoning and procedures of courts as well as this area of issues. Furthermore, he had worked at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic for more than a year where he had participated in public procurement as a lawyer and then also as a member of a supervisory body for half a year.
