Robert Plicka

Robert Plicka is a founder of this law office and an attorney-at-law registered in the list of the Czech Bar Association under reg. No.: 14849. He started practicing the law in 2009, and thanks to his rich experience in almost all legal areas, he is able to lead the entire team of PLICKA & PARTNERS professionally and responsibly and to provide our clients with comprehensive services of the highest quality.
Robert acquired his wide knowledge at several educational institutions, namely the Faculty of Law at the University in Passau (Germany), Faculty of Law at the West-Bohemian University in Pilsen, Faculty of Economy at the West-Bohemian University in Pilsen with focus on the European Union, and Faculty of Business and Economics at the Czech Agricultural University in Prague. After his graduation from the Faculty of Law, Robert Plicka worked as a candidate attorney-at-law and then also as the attorney-at-law in several international law offices in Prague. Prior to opening his own law office, he worked at Polverini Strnad, Law Office.
Robert practices law in all legal areas, yet he specializes in Criminal Law, Medical Law, Real Estate Law and Commercial Law. He also represents his clients in court and arbitrary proceedings. Robert is the author of an amendment to the Criminal Code, which strengthened the penalties for animal cruelty, introduced a new offense of keeping animals in unsuitable conditions and a new type of punishment banning the keeping and breeding of animals.
The wide range of Robert’s legal practice further includes consultations regarding drafts of legislation (legislative activities and drafts of legal acts including explanatory reports), representation of clients during both small and large legal cases (sometimes even international ones).
Moreover, Robert provides some pro bono legal services in the name of PLICKA & PARTNERS, among others for charitable organizations focusing on animal protection.
